The Affalterbach motorsport specialist produces the most powerful S-Class model. The S 65 AMG with AMG 6.0 litre V12 biturbo engine develops 450 kW (612 hp) and a maximum torque rating of 1000 Nm. Its acceleration figures – 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds – are the stuff that racing drivers’ dreams are made of. The AMG V12 engine delivers 570 Nm to the crankshaft at just 1000 rpm. And the Active Body Control (ABC) suspension’s new active wheel load distribution and crosswind stabilisation functions ensure that the vehicle is barely affected by external influences – even with a dynamic driving style.

Like the S 63 AMG, the S 65 AMG is equipped with AMG high-performance composite brakes and an AMG sports suspension. You select gears by means of the DIRECT SELECT lever and aluminium shift paddles on the new AMG sports steering wheel. In the cockpit you’re welcomed by the AMG instrument cluster with the AMG main menu and the start screen showing the "AMG 12 BITURBO" boot logo. And with the integrated RACETIMER you can even time laps.

In the vehicle interior, the high-quality Exclusive PASSION leather appointments with its AMG V12 diamond pattern (exclusive to S 65 AMG) underlines its sports flair even before the V12 engine springs into action.

On the outside, the combination of new AMG front apron with AMG-specific LED daytime driving lights, large air intakes, side skirts and rear apron with diffuser in vehicle body colour gives the S 65 AMG an exceedingly powerful, athletic appearance which is rounded off by an AMG sports exhaust system with two chrome twin tailpipes in V12 design and 20-inch AMG twin-spoke forged wheels in titanium grey finish with mixed-size tyres.
