The Aksaray plant

Aksaray, the gate to Cappadocia, is one of the most important centres on the historical Silk Road.

The Trucks plant of Mercedes-Benz in Aksaray lies approximately 240 km south of Ankara and was founded in 1986.
Constructed on a total area of 558,117 square metres, the plant has a production capacity of 14,500 units, giving it a leading position in Turkey. With its high export volume to many countries the plant not only plays an important role in Aksaray but in the entire Turkish economy.

The Aksaray plant is a production centre of high-quality trucks and commercial vehicle components.
