Vito is voted Irish Van of the Year 2016

The Mercedes-Benz Vito van has been voted Continental Irish Van of the Year 2016 by the Irish Motoring Writers Association (IMWA).

The unanimous choice of all jury members and described as ‘a very worthy overall winner from 14 contenders’ the new Vito van was judged the winner based on its value-for-money, reliability, versatility and lasting residual value.

Accepting the award on behalf of Mercedes-Benz, their commercial vehicle sales manager, Fergus Conheady thanked the IMWA jury members for their recognition adding that Mercedes-Benz is proud to win this prestigious award for the new Vito van, building on the success achieved by its previous model, also voted Continental Irish Van of the Year, when introduced to the market in 2011.

Launched on the Irish Market earlier this year with prices beginning at €18,650, the new Vito range encompasses the familiar Vito panel van, the versatile Mixto crew cab unit and a Tourer crew bus with seating for up to 9 persons.
