Unique vehicle concept: the Mercedes-Benz Unimog was specifically developed to work with implements. This has produced many benefits evident in practice today. Its safety and reliability out in the field, as well as its outstanding system and implement-carrying design, have maintained the Unimog's position as the professional commercial vehicle par excellence for over 60 years now. Mercedes-Benz has been working closely with international implement and bodybuilders for decades now, and brings together the experience and expertise of specialists with the in-depth knowledge of expert Unimog partners to create the ideal prerequisites for tailored system solutions. 

Increased efficiency: the new BlueEfficiency Power technologies enable the new Unimog to drive and work in a particularly efficient manner thereby increasing productivity, while meeting the Euro VI emissions standard. The new diesel engines deliver up to 220 kW (300 hp) and higher torque than before. In addition, the Unimog delivers more power and control in applications involving implements, thanks to the fully proportional and more powerful VarioPower® power hydraulics. 

True innovation: The new synergistic drive system is adapted precisely to its dedication. The benefits become clear in practice: the working speed, between 0 and 50 km/h, can be set steplessly and independently of engine speed and can be maintained at that level with a speed regulator function. And it is simple to switch between stepless and mechanical drive while moving or manoeuvring. The system thus makes work easier and increases productivity for users.
