We are continuously monitoring the spread of the COVID-19 in order to be able to react to the dynamically changing situation at any time and to adapt our measures accordingly.


The health and safety of our all our customers, employees and business partners is our top priority. Mercedes-Benz Ireland and the Mercedes-Benz retail network in Ireland continues to follow all Government, HSE and World Health Organisation advice and guidelines so as to ensure we continue to prioritise the health and safety of all our customers, staff and business partners.


Due to the worsening situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, Daimler has suspended the majority of its production in Europe as well as work in selected administrative departments for an initial period of two weeks. By taking this action, the company is following the recommendations of international, national and local authorities. Wherever operations need to be continued, the company will take appropriate precautions to prevent the infection of its employees. An extension of this measure will depend on further developments.


With these measures, Mercedes-Benz is helping to protect its workforce, to interrupt chains of infection and to contain the spread of the pandemic.


From Monday 18th May 2020 all Mercedes-Benz Sales & After-Sales Dealerships will reopen to full operations. Following the HSE guidelines, all necessary safety precautions and measures have been enforced to ensure the safety of all customers, employees and business partners. Physical visits for new vehicle collections will be accommodated by appointment. For all vehicle maintenance enquiries, please check your local Mercedes-Benz retailer’s vehicle servicing availability by telephoning or by visiting the dealer website. We are committed to keeping all our customers mobile during these unprecedented times, in this regard, and in following government and HSE guidelines, majority of workshops will remain open with a limited team to accommodate breakdowns of critical workers’ cars.
