EQ Ready app
Is the EQV suited to my daily routes?
The free smartphone app illustrates whether changing to an electric vehicle or a hybrid model would be feasible for you. For this purpose, the app tracks your daily vehicle journeys – regardless of the brand of vehicle – using your smartphone. The app analyses the individual mobility characteristics and compares it with numerous parameters of electric and hybrid vehicles. The result: the EQ Ready app not only checks whether your destinations are within reach of an electrically driven vehicle, but it also provides you with specific recommendations about which alternatively driven smart or Mercedes-Benz model matches your demands best.
Simply download the EQ Ready App and test it with your own vehicle.

Battery and battery certificate
Powerful and safe. A battery that meets Mercedes quality standards.
The high-voltage battery is the centre piece of the new Mercedes-Benz EQV. The battery is installed in the vehicle floor in order to fulfil the high Mercedes-Benz safety requirements. This also reduces the vehicle's centre of gravity.
Worry-free electric driving.
Worry-free electric driving.
The so-called battery certificate means you can enjoy the all-electric driving experience in the new Mercedes-Benz EQV without any worries. The battery certificate protects customers for up to 8 years or a mileage of 160,000 km against any financial burden should the high-voltage battery fall below the threshold of 180 Ah of residual capacity on the EQV 300 [Mercedes-Benz EQV 300: electrical consumption in kWh/100 km (combined): XXX; CO2 emissions in g/km (combined): 0.][1].

EQ&A
Your most important questions regarding electric mode.
- Range
What range can be achieved with an EQV during everyday use?
The actual range is furthermore dependent upon the vehicle equipment, vehicle load, individual driving style, road and traffic conditions, outside temperature, and use of the climate control/heating system and other electrical consumers. Therefore it is not possible to make a definitive statement about the range in everyday situations. Various recuperation levels and the drive programs help you to use the charging process as efficiently as possible and achieve a greater range.
- AC and DC charging technology
What is the difference between AC and DC charging technology?
In principle, the batteries in electrified vehicles can only be charged with direct current (DC). However, all household sockets, the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox and most public charging stations deliver alternating current (AC) as do "high-voltage sockets". To make charging possible, the vehicle is equipped with an on-board charger – an AC/DC rectifier. It converts the alternating current into the required direct current. On the EQV a charging capacity of up to 11 kW is possible – depending on the capacity of the charging infrastructure and the charging cable.
At charging stations with direct current (DC) conversion of the current in the vehicle charger is unnecessary. Thus higher charging capacities are possible, whereby the EQV can be charged with up to 110 kW. - Environment
How environmentally friendly are electric cars really?
This depends to a large extent on your driving and charging behaviour. What kind of electricity you charge is of particular importance here: is the vehicle charged with carbon-neutral electricity or with a mix of energy which includes coal power, for example? Generally all public charging stations are supplied with alternatively generated electricity and in private households too, a green electricity contract is often only a few clicks away. As a supporting measure we offer the Mercedes-Benz green electricity – a service exclusively for Mercedes-Benz customers.
- Charging options
How do I charge my EQV?
You have a choice of charging options. The most obvious choice: the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox with which you can fully charge the battery in less than 10 hours with a charging capacity of up to 11 kW. Plus there is a steadily growing number of public charging stations. At a DC rapid charging station you can charge your EQV from 10 to 80% with a charging capacity of up to 110 kW in about 45 minutes.
- Charging cable socket
What charging cable connector can I use to charge my EQV?
Thanks to the Combined Charging System (CCS) you are very flexible when charging the EQV at charging stations and wallboxes: it charges with up to 11 kW at charging points with alternating current (AC). At rapid charging stations using direct current (DC), you can even charge with up to 110 kW to achieve a new range fast.
- Battery certificate
Is there a warranty on the battery?
The battery certificate protects customers for up to 8 years or a mileage of 160,000 km against any financial burden should the high-voltage battery fall below the threshold of 180 Ah of residual capacity on the EQV 300<p>EQV 300 with passenger car registration (M1). - Efficiency
How do I drive my Mercedes-Benz EQV as efficiently as possible?
4 different drive programs and 5 recuperation levels assist you in maintaining an efficient driving style. Both functions enable you to optimise your electrical consumption and thus the range of your EQV.
