The GLE Coupé with petrol engine and plug-in-hybrid technology benefits from Mercedes-Benz third-generation plug-in-hybrid technology and fascinates with its clearly evident advances in electric range and additional features for relaxed, comfortable driving. The new GLE 350 e Coupé combines the dynamism of a powerful 100 kW electric motor and the capacity of a significantly larger battery with an efficient four-cylinder petrol engine to deliver a system output of up to 245 [333] / 4500 - 5500 kW
Figures for rated output and rated torque pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 715/2007 in the currently applicable version.
and a system torque of up to 350/1600 - 4000 / 440/0 - 2000 Nm
Figures for rated output and rated torque pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 715/2007 in the currently applicable version.
.

This means that with the GLE Coupé, for the first time an electric range of up to 94 kilometres (NEDC) can be achieved, which should significantly increase the proportion of locally emission-free electric journeys in the city and on short journeys. This persuasively contributes to its suitability for everyday use – as does the fully-variable all-wheel drive with the ability to recuperate across all four wheels and the option of fast charging when out and about with the COMBO charging socket. And let's not forget the well-known practical benefits of the GLE such as its long wheelbase, spacious interior and a load compartment that, even with the battery, is fully usable.

The GLE Coupé with plug-in hybrid technology raises the benchmark in terms of electric driving range and relaxed motoring comfort. It combines the dynamism of a powerful 100 kW electric motor and the capacity of a larger battery with the pulling power and efficiency of a four-cylinder latest-generation diesel engine to deliver a system output of up to 235 [320] / 3500 - 4000 kW
Figures for rated output and rated torque pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 715/2007 in the currently applicable version.
and a system torque of up to 400/1600 - 2800 / 440/0 - 2000 Nm
Figures for rated output and rated torque pursuant to Regulation (EC) No. 715/2007 in the currently applicable version.
.

With the appropriate driving style, for the first time an electric range of up to 94 kilometres can be achieved, which can significantly increase the proportion of locally emission-free electric journeys, especially in the city and on short journeys. This persuasively contributes to its suitability for everyday use – as does the fully-variable all-wheel drive, the option of fast charging out and about with the integrated COMBO charging socket, and the powerful ability to recuperate across all four wheels. On top of this come the well-known practical benefits of the GLE Coupé such as its long wheelbase, spacious interior and a load compartment that even with the battery is fully usable.
