Mercedes-Benz Cabriolets: traditionally innovative.

The history of the Mercedes-Benz Cabriolets is characterised by constant evolution.

“Cabriolet” originally meant a light, open carriage drawn by two horses. From around 1920 onwards it became the name for a sporty vehicle with an open soft top.

Daimler-Benz went on to develop the cabriolet types A to F: the predecessors of today’s Mercedes-Benz Cabriolets. Since then they have become synonymous with elegant sports performance and outstanding weather protection. And they offer state-of-the-art technology and the latest comfort features, including:

  • Touchpad with finger gesture control
  • Smartphone and multimedia system networking
  • Virtual navigation with MBUX Augmented Reality
  • Alternative Premium Navigation via COMAND Online
