A strong drive for success: in the Sprinter, efficient diesel engines in numerous power output stages combine power and economical operation.
All engine variants are available with either a manual or an automatic transmission. The Euro-6d or Euro-VI emissions standard is complied with through the use of SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction). This process reduces nitrogen oxide emissions in diesel engines by routing the exhaust gas through a catalytic converter where the nitrogen oxides are converted into nitrogen and water thanks to the addition of water-based AdBlue®.
