Electrically operated sliding doors The electrical operation allows opening and closing of the sliding door at the touch of a button, without the driver having to get out or the passengers having to touch the sliding door. This means a significant increase in comfort, especially when the sliding door is used frequently.

Left sliding door The sliding door on the left-hand side offers additional access to the vehicle. This makes loading and unloading and getting in and out of the vehicle faster and more flexible, for example in cramped traffic situations in the city centre.

Tailgate Thanks to its generous load compartment aperture, the tailgate also allows bulky load items and luggage to be loaded and unloaded easily. The chrome-plated Mercedes star positioned at the centre of the tailgate enhances the rear-end design.

Double-wing rear door, opening 180°, no window The double-wing rear door facilitates loading and unloading the vehicle with bulky luggage thanks to its ample opening angle. Forklift trucks can also approach the vehicle because the two symmetrical doors can open by up to 180°.

Double-wing rear doors, opening to side wall The double-wing rear doors can be opened as far as the vehicle side wall and locked in place with the help of magnetic retainers. When manoeuvring space is restricted, the vehicle can be reversed into position directly up against a loading ramp or to the load to be carried with the rear doors completely open.

Roof railing The roof railing painted black allows the transportation of additional cargo atop the roof and gives the vehicle an individual look. Topload Package The Topload Package allows the simple and secure transportation of a ladder on the vehicle roof. With the help of the roof luggage rack, roller, ladder rack and 2 lashing straps this can be quickly loaded and securely fastened.

Trailer coupling with non-removable ball head With the non-removable ball head for this trailer coupling, you can tow trailers with a trailer coupling and a trailer load of up to 2000 kg. Rail system for cargo retention The cargo retention system allows a proper and flexible securing of the load. Objects can be secured on the two anchoring rails on the load compartment floor with the help of the optional lashing eyelets and securing straps.

Load compartment interior trim up to roof height (wood) The 5 mm-thick wooden panelling of the vehicle sidewalls extending up to roof height protects the sheet metal in the load compartment from damage such as can be caused when loading or unloading. The plywood panels start at the load compartment floor and end at the roof frame. The tailgate and the rear doors are panelled to half height and the pillars are not panelled. Optional equipment.

Load compartment interior trim, upper sections In the load compartment, panelling in the upper segments of the sidewalls contributes to a better protection of the surfaces from damage. The panelling, made from wood fibreboard and painted grey, ensures a robust and uniform visual impression and also improves acoustic comfort in the interior of the vehicle. Optional equipment.

Wood floor The wood floor is very robust and therefore particularly well-suited to the transportation of heavy cargo, in which a lot of weight has to be carried on a small area. For this, a repeatedly glued, 10 mm-thick screen printing base plate is laid and fixed on the floor of the load compartment. Optional equipment.

Plastic floor covering If you wish to equip your load compartment with a hard-wearing and weight-saving flooring, the black plastic floor covering is precisely the right thing for you. The water-resistant, single-piece plastic floor protects the metal floor beneath it against damage.

Full-width partition on C-pillar with window The full-width partition on the C-pillar with window allows a view into the load compartment or a view to the rear in conjunction with windows in the tailgate or in the rear doors. It protects the passenger compartment against the cargo, shields it from the load compartment and keeps dirt, dust and noises out. Optional equipment.

CABIN COMFORT Package The CABIN COMFORT Package bundles together an attractive range of equipment and appointments for enhanced on-the-road comfort for the driver and front passengers. 9G-TRONIC The 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission has nine gears which keep the engine speed as low as possible in every driving situation. The transmission's large gear ratio spread brings added agility and pulling power in almost all driving situations and improves the pulling away capability.

6-speed manual transmission The 6-speed manual transmission offers a good balance between great ride comfort, low fuel consumption and agile handling. The operation via the gearshift lever is effortless and largely free of vibrations.

Large tank The large fuel tank with a volume of around 70 litres enables a greater range and helps save time, as fewer refuelling stops are needed. This equipment is particularly recommendable for vehicles that frequently have to cover long distances.

They help you to, amongst other things, maintain a minimum distance from the vehicle in front, be aware of vehicles in your blind spot and avoid inadvertently straying out of the lane.

Lane Tracking Package The Lane Tracking Package_[1] can help you to stay in lane and change lanes on multi-lane highways. It comprises Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Assist. The combination of these two assistance systems can bring clear benefits in terms of driving safety and stress relief.

Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC The radar-based Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC_[1] adaptive cruise control automatically maintains a set distance between your vehicle and vehicles in front, taking the strain off you on motorways or in stop-and-go traffic.

Blind Spot Assist Blind Spot Assist_[1] with Rear Cross Traffic Alert can help prevent accidents when changing lanes and reversing by emitting visual and audible warnings. PRE-SAFE® The PRE-SAFE® preventive occupant protection system_[1] can identify potentially critical driving situations at an early stage and initiate protective measures. The measures include reversible tightening of the driver's and front passenger's seat belts and closing any open windows and roof systems if necessary.

Crosswind Assist Crosswind Assist_[1] can detect track offset caused by strong crosswind gusts in good time and help the driver to stay in lane. A sudden track offset of the vehicle can cause inappropriate steering reactions on the part of the driver.

ATTENTION ASSIST The ATTENTION ASSIST system_[1] can help to prevent microsleep and therefore provides you with increased safety, in particular when driving at night and on long journeys. The system emits a visual and audible warning if it identifies typical signs of drowsiness or lack of attention, and suggests taking a break.

Adaptive brake lights In the event of hard braking, the adaptive brake lights can warn following traffic and thus help prevent rear-end collisions. They are activated when ESP® detects an emergency braking manoeuvre – depending on braking pressure and speed.

GUARD 360° vehicle protection GUARD 360° vehicle protection_[1] combines a number of security features that improve protection both for your vehicle and any valuables in the interior. It gives both an audible and a visible warning signal if it detects a break-in or theft.

Anti-Theft Protection Package The Anti-Theft Protection Package can help you to secure the vehicle by triggering a visual and an audible alarm if it detects a danger of theft. It consists of an anti-theft alarm system (ATA), interior protection and tow-away protection.

Anti-theft alarm system The anti-theft alarm system (ATA) offers high anti-theft protection for vehicle and cargo. It is automatically activated when pressing the radio remote control of the central locking system. The alarm sounds as soon as one of the doors is opened or unlocked from the inside when activated.

Tyre pressure loss warning system at front and rear, wireless The tyre pressure loss warning system checks the air pressure in all four wheels from 20 km/h. It can alert the driver to a loss of pressure in the tyres, increasing driving safety and tyre life.

Mercedes-Benz emergency call system The Mercedes-Benz emergency call system can ensure crucial time savings in an emergency. Using a communication module with its own SIM card, an automatic emergency call is initiated following an accident, thereby potentially reducing the time before the emergency services arrive at the scene. Alternatively, an emergency call can be triggered manually to organise assistance.

Driver's airbag In the event of a collision, the airbag integrated in the steering wheel can protect the driver's head and upper body. Thus the airbag provides a high level of protection which minimises both the risk and severity of potential head and chest injuries.

Front passenger's airbag In the event of a collision, the front passenger's airbag can contribute to protecting the head and upper body of front-seat passengers. It thus provides a high degree of protection, reducing both the risk and severity of head, face and chest injuries.

Thorax/pelvis sidebag for driver and front passenger The thorax/pelvis sidebag can help to protect the driver's or front passenger's thorax and pelvic area in the event of a side impact and reduce the risk of injury. The sidebag is installed in the backrest of the driver's or front passenger's seat.

Windowbags for driver and front passenger The windowbags for driver and front passenger offer a higher level of protection against head and face injuries in a severe side-on collision. The windowbags are located in the roof lining on either side of the vehicle and, in the event of a detected collision, they inflate within milliseconds as an air cushion curtain in front of the side windows.

Parking Package with reversing camera Regardless of whether parallel or diagonal parking, or whether driving forward or in reverse, the Parking Package with reversing camera supports you when parking and unparking, and makes manoeuvring in tight spaces easier. Comfort driver and front passenger seat, swivelling The swivelling comfort front passenger seat offers more than just pleasant seating comfort on the move: when the vehicle is stationary, it can be turned flexibly. For example, by 180° in a communicative face-to-face position to the passengers in the rear seat row. If the seat is turned by up to 50° to the door, exiting is made easier. Optional equipment.

Lumbar support for driver and front passenger seat The 4-way lumbar support supports the vertebrae in the lumbar area and relieves back strain. This is especially pleasant on long journeys. Two air cushions in the backrest of the comfort seat can be individually adjusted to suit the front passenger's preference and support an ergonomic seating posture.

Cruise control Cruise control takes the burden off you by maintaining a pre-selected speed without the need for you to operate the accelerator pedal. A constant speed supports an energy-efficient driving style. Using the integrated speed limiter, you can set a maximum speed which helps you to stay within speed limits, for example.
