GMC strengthens van fleet with new Sprinter additions. 

GMC Utilities Group, one of Ireland’s largest civil and mechanical engineering groups, has significantly bolstered its fleet of light commercial vehicles after taking delivery of 34 new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans.

Supplied by Naas Road-based Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer, MUTEC, the new 315 medium wheelbase and 316 long wheelbase units are finished with GMC’s distinctive red, blue and yellow logo, and will soon become a familiar sight on Irish roads.
 

All the Sprinter vans are delivered complete with safety features that include Active Brake Assist, Crosswind Assist and reversing camera.

 

Founded in the late 1970s, GMC Utilities Group has enjoyed year on year growth, bringing its considerable experience and expertise to some of the largest civil and engineering projects in Ireland and the UK over the past forty years. Headquartered in Ballycoolin, GMC employs some 350 staff.

Mercedes-Benz PRO Don Hall awarded ‘Service to the Industry’ at Irish Van of the Year.

The Mercedes-Benz Public Relations Officer, Don Hall, had reason to celebrate at the Continental Irish ‘Car of the Year’ and Irish ‘Van of the Year’ awards 2022. Presented with the ‘Service to the Industry’ award, the founder and director of Hall Public Relations was overjoyed.
