The LED Intelligent Light System improves the vision of the driver and therefore driving safety, as it can adjust the illumination of the road surface to various driving conditions. For this it has adaptive headlamps, which can swivel vertically and horizontally and are variable in their luminosity.

The system includes Highbeam Assist, which can help ensure oncoming vehicles are not dazzled, and the active light function, which swivels the headlamps towards the inside of a bend thereby providing significantly better illumination of the road. Further functions include the highway mode, in which the lighting of the road surface is also optimised for the respective driving conditions.
