Intelligent navigation for electric vehicles: if one or more charging stops are necessary on the way to the destination, this Digital Extra plans them directly when calculating the journey distance and duration. This allows you to predict exactly how long your vehicles will be on the road, including charging time. [4][5]
This Digital Extra is particularly practical for vehicles that are used by several people. Simply open the vehicle doors, including the rear-end doors, via the Mercedes-Benz App to enable tools or materials to be unloaded, for example. It is just as easy to lock the doors again using the app.
This Digital Extra takes the length, width, height and gross vehicle weight rating of your vehicle and trailer, if applicable, into account when planning the route by entering them in the Mercedes-Benz App. This avoids passages that are too narrow, bridges that are too low or routes where traffic bans are in place – and your vehicles reach their destinations without any unplanned detours.
Use the Mercedes-Benz App to set a departure time for your vehicle at which it should be ready with a specific state of charge and air-conditioned to your requirements. The charging process and climate control start fully automatically at the right time – and your vehicles can get going immediately when the time comes.
Manage maintenance and repairs efficiently[4], carry out maintenance yourself, recognise urgent repair requirements: this Digital Extra[5] analyses your van's technical data and gives you proactive recommendations for action if required.[3]

Various Digital Extras packages are available for this purpose – customised to your needs and those of your business. In addition, for the use of some Digital Extras there may be further usage requirements or limitations specifically separate customer-owned contracts with third parties (e. g., streaming, charging, conclusion of a data contract covering comfort data volume), selected third-party products (e.g. smartphone, smartwatch) or they are only available for specific customer groups. Alternatively to comfort data volume, depending on the generation of your multimedia system, data volume must be available via Internet in the car or, where possible, your own data volume will need to be used via tethering. Information on personal data processed for the use of Digital Extras may be found in the Digital Extra privacy policy. The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers.
