            Digital Extras Right from the start, your Mercedes-Benz has more to offer than you might at first realise.             Active Emergency Stop Assist First-class assistance: Active Emergency Stop Assist can detect an extended absence of driver activity and can protect you and other road users through controlled braking to a standstill and automatically issuing an emergency call. [4]

            Active Brake Assist The included as standard Active Brake Assist with cornering and junction function can help you avoid or reduce the impact of collisions with other road users such as pedestrians, cyclists or vehicles. [4]
            Digital Vehicle Key The Digital Vehicle Key enables you to unlock, start and lock the E-Class using your compatible smartphone[5]without having to carry a physical vehicle key around.
            Digital Vent Control Various presets are available for the driver and front passenger for the automatic air vents, e.g. "Head", "Body" or "Evenly distributed". Your Mercedes redirects the airflow accordingly. You can also save individual climate settings in the user profiles. You can still adjust the air vents manually. The stepper motor automatically switches to free-wheel when you make an adjustment by hand.
            Panoramic sliding sunroof Whether open or closed, the panoramic sliding sunroof[1]gives you a wonderful feeling of freedom and a pleasantly bright ambience in the interior. When viewed from the outside, the large sliding sunroof likewise makes a unique visual impression, as it lends lightness and exclusivity to the exterior.
            Active Multicontour Seats Luxury that you can feel: the Multicontour Seat Package[1] with memory and massage functions has separate controls for the driver and front passenger. With ENERGIZING comfort control you can select different massage programmes for an improved deep massage.
            Smart Home "Hey Mercedes, turn off the light at home!" Connect your Smart Home System[6]to your E-Class Sedan and control your Smart Home products such as temperature, lighting, roller blinds and electrical appliances on the move. This is conveniently operated by voice control through MBUX Voice Assistant.
            PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side[1]extends the passive protection concept. Impending side collisions caused by other road users can be detected by the enhanced sensor system. The front occupants can be repositioned towards the centre of the vehicle by the activation of the PSIS airbag padding in the sea backrest.
            PRE-SAFE® PLUS Your guardian angel on-the-go: if there is a threat of a rear-end collision, PRE-SAFE® PLUS[1]can directly alert drivers behind you with rapidly flashing warning lamps. By activating the reversible seatbelt pretensioner, the passenger can also be prepared for the imminent collision.
            Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist[4]automatically adapts your speed to slower vehicles travelling ahead. The desired specified distance can be set in several stages. You won't want to do without this support, especially both in flowing and in slow-moving motorway traffic.
            GUARD 360° GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection[1]provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings - for example, with the extended anti-theft alarm system and tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The Mercedes-Benz collision detection function informs you via the app.[7]
            Acoustic presence indicator So that your vehicle also does not pose a danger to pedestrians and cyclists when driving in virtually silent all-electric mode, the acoustic presence indicator generates a specific Mercedes-Benz sound outside of the vehicle up to a speed of approx. 30 km/h. This so-called Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) cannot be switched off.
            AGILITY CONTROL The AGILITY CONTROL suspension with lowering creates optimum road holding without sacrificing comfort. The passive selective damping system automatically optimises roll behaviour, damping effect and stabilisation for confident driving on any road surface.
