New-vehicle warranty On the safe side from the outset.

1 September 2005 saw the introduction of a two-year, Europe-wide new-vehicle warranty for all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

The contractual warranty undertaking is provided by the sales organisation that sells you the vehicle. The warranty is valid from the day of vehicle delivery, or from the date of initial registration if this is earlier, and does not have a mileage limit. It supplements the statutory liability for material defects and gives you extra peace of mind for the first two years.

The Mercedes-Benz new-vehicle warranty is valid in the European Union member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. All EQ vehicles have an overall 24-month manufacturers warranty without mileage limitation. Please see warranty guidelines for HV batteries below;

EQA/EQB/EQC - 8 years or up to a mileage of max. 160,000km for the HV battery only.*
EQS/EQE - 10 years or up to a mileage of max. 250,000km for the HV battery only.*
Plug-In Hybrid model series - 6 years or up to a mileage of max. 100,000 km for the HV battery only.*
* Whichever comes first

In the Republic of Ireland, we also have an additional 12 months warranty on Certified Pre-Owned. The Irish warranty only applies to cars imported and sold through the Mercedes-Benz dealer network in Ireland. The warranty applies to all material and manufacturing defects, technical defects and deficiencies. Wear parts, defects due to specific usage patterns and age are considered maintenance and are not covered under the warranty. In order for the Irish warranty to be valid, the factory's conditions for normal warranty must be followed. This means that the vehicle must be maintained in accordance with Mercedes-Benz Group AG guidelines, at authorized Mercedes-Benz workshops. Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles Warranty 12 month or 50,000km Warranty, whichever comes first.
The warranty period commences on the date the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned vehicle is purchased from the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle dealership.

The warranty cover is for a period of 12mths or 50,000km, whichever occurs first. The mileage condition does not apply if the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty is still valid. Button
