MBUX Augmented Reality navigation To enable you to find your way in complex traffic situations, MBUX augmented reality for navigation_[1] connects the virtual world with the real one. A camera in the windscreen films the area in front of the vehicle. The recording appears on the media display. The technology incorporates graphic navigation instructions and traffic information into live images. You can reach your destination quickly, safely and stress-free.

Wireless charging system and smartphone integration Simply place your smartphone in the tray on the centre console. Regardless of model and brand, compatible devices are charged wirelessly. Smartphone Integration connects the mobile phone with the multimedia system wirelessly via Apple CarPlay™_[1] or Android Auto™_[2]. This gives you convenient access to the most important apps on your smartphone. You can also use apps from third-party service providers such as Spotify quickly and easily._[3][4]

Side impact airbags in rear passenger compartment The side impact airbags in the rear passenger compartment_[1] protect the chest area of passengers on the outer rear seats in the event of a severe side impact. Together with the standard windowbags, they offer optimum safety potential to prevent or mitigate injuries. The air cushions deploy between door and occupant.

Lowered comfort suspension Special tuning of the springs and dampers supports sporty driving - without you having to sacrifice the usual comfort elsewhere. Lowering the suspension by 15 millimetres means that your vehicle hugs the road more visibly as well. This reinforces the impression of dynamism and power.

DYNAMIC SELECT Simply drive as you want to. At the touch of a button, DYNAMIC SELECT offers different driving modes which determine the settings for the engine, transmission, suspension and steering, for example. With the “Sport” mode, for example, you are on the road in an emphatically dynamic way, while with the basic “Comfort” mode the characteristics are very balanced. “ECO” focuses on efficiency, saving fuel and money.

48-volt system The revised 4-cylinder petrol engine with mild-hybrid concept and 48-volt onboard network plus the latest combustion technology impresses with high efficiency and agility. The belt-driven starter-generator (RSG) can help to save fuel, assists with a boost function and recovers valuable energy during braking.

Dual-clutch transmission 7G-DCT/8G-DCT The B-Class comes with an automatic transmission that adapts to your wishes as standard: with the driving mode, you also change the characteristics of the dual-clutch transmission either for efficient driving at low rpm or for impressively high dynamics.
