The multifunction sports steering wheel is also available in ARTICO[9] man-made leather, highlighting the progressive nature of your vehicle. In addition, the Leather-free Package[9] gives you a completely leather-free interior, which includes the seat covers as well as the steering wheel.
            Centre console The retractable cover for the stowage compartment in the centre console offers you elegant protection from prying eyes in a high-quality material. It looks good, the interior is kept tidy, and everything important is to hand. The practical stowage compartment can house typical everyday items such as smartphone, wallet or various keys.
            MBUX multimedia system Design your personal infotainment requirements with the MBUX multimedia system. Choose between several display styles from “Discreet” to “Sporty” and decide between voice or touch control.             Burmester® surround sound system with Dolby Atmos® Experience even greater performance and exclusivity through the legendary Burmester® sound. With the legendary Burmester® sound, every journey can become a brilliant listening experience. The loudspeakers feature elegant lettering, and you can specifically optimise the sound for the front and rear seats to create an intense soundscape.                Touch control operation MBUX Multimedia System offers you maximum freedom to control numerous functions in a way that is most comfortable for you. A touchscreen is available in your Mercedes-Benz GLA. The displays can also be controlled using Touch Control buttons on the steering wheel.
              Smartphone Integration Wireless charging: simply place your compatible device in the centre console and charging begins immediately. Smartphone Integration[1] moves the functionality of your device onto the media display. The user interface then enables you to control numerous functions the same way you always do.
              Digital Extras Right from the start, your Mercedes-Benz has more to offer than you might at first realise. Depending on your vehicle model, the special equipment you have chosen, the year of manufacture and the country, many Digital Extras for topics such as remote, navigation, charging, GUARD 360° vehicle protection and entertainment are included for a term of 36 months from the date of purchase of the new vehicle[6]. If you would like to continue to benefit from the advantages of the Digital Extras after the initial term, you can renew them with just a few clicks in the Mercedes-Benz Store.
              MBUX Voice Assistant Experience and enjoy voice control on a fascinating new level with the MBUX Voice Assistant[1][6], with no set commands. Thanks to its understanding of natural speech, the MBUX voice assistant obeys practically every command. It recognises and understands almost any request related to infotainment and vehicle operation. The system can also process indirect speech, for example, climate control will respond to "I feel cold" and gradually increase the temperature setting.
              Digital Extra: MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation To enable you to find your way in complex traffic situations, MBUX Augmented Reality for Navigation[1] connects the virtual world with the real world. The technology incorporates graphic navigation instructions and traffic information into live images. You can reach your destination quickly, safely and stress-free.[10]
              Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC[9] takes a lot of work off your hands by automatically controlling the distance from the vehicle in front. In conjunction with Speed Limit Assist, you can adopt detected speed limits with ease at the press of a button.[3][7]
              Active Brake Assist This assistance system can help to avoid collisions with moving or stationary vehicles in front, with oncoming traffic when turning off and with moving pedestrians as well as cyclists. In addition to distance and collision warning, the system also offers situation-appropriate braking assistance – right up to autonomous emergency braking.[7]
              Active Lane Keeping Assist Active Lane Keeping Assist[9] is an attentive observer: if you unintentionally leave your lane or get dangerously close to other road users, the system can bring you back into your lane with the help of steering intervention. However, if you still leave the lane, an additional warning will follow in the form of a steering wheel vibration.[7]
              Manoeuvring Trailer Assist Save time and nerves when manoeuvring: with Trailer Manoeuvring Assist[1] you can complete reversing manoeuvres confidently and calmly – even in difficult situations. Particularly useful for drivers who rarely drive with a trailer or less experienced with it, assisted steering really makes things easier.[6][7]
              PRE-SAFE® system The PRE-SAFE® system[1] makes use of the time prior to an impending accident on your behalf. A raft of measures can be initiated to reduce the force generated as a result. The innovative PRE-SAFE® Sound generates a noise from the speakers which is able to trigger a natural protective reflex. This protects the inner ear by damping the noise of an accident. [7]
              HANDS-FREE ACCESS HANDS-FREE ACCESS[9] opens and closes the tailgate without touching it. For this, the sensor area beneath the rear bumper detects a kicking motion with your foot. This is particularly useful when you come back from shopping loaded up with heavy bags.
              Heated seats for the driver and front passenger The seat heating quickly brings the seat surfaces and backrests to a comfortable temperature in cooler weather or according to your personal preference. You select the intensity in 3 levels. After some time, the seat heating is reduced automatically.
              Easy entry Comfort begins when you step foot in your vehicle. With its wide, accessible door, the GLA makes getting in and out a breeze, ensuring comfort from the moment you get in.
              Rear seats with adjustable length With the longitudinally adjustable rear seats, you can move the entire rear bench forward by up to 140 millimetres. This way you either increase the load compartment or the legroom in the rear. Thanks to the rear armrest with integrated double cup holder, your passengers will travel in comfort and convenience.[9]
              GUARD 360° vehicle protection GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection[1] provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings - for example, with the extended anti-theft alarm system and tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The collision detection function of Mercedes-Benz informs you via the app.
              Parking Package with 360° camera Optimum onboard parking service. Active Parking Assist with 360° camera[1] makes it easier for you to find an available parking space and to manoeuvre into and out of it. The choice is yours: you can park the car yourself with the reassurance of all-round vision, or avoid the job altogether and have it parked for you. [7]
              Mirror Package You can fold in the exterior mirrors electrically and make your vehicle slimmer at the touch of a button. Smaller parking spaces suddenly become big enough. This also helps to avoid damage. The rear-view mirror is also able to register dazzle from vehicles behind you and dim automatically.[1]
              Driving Assistance Package A high level of comfort and safety on the road to autonomous driving. One highlight: DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist[9], which, together with Active Steering Assist[5], can noticeably reduce the strain on you in flowing and slow-moving lane traffic.[7]
              Parking Package with reversing camera Active Parking Assist helps you find a parking space as well as reverse into a parking space as soon as a suitable gap is detected. The choice is yours: manoeuvre confidently yourself thanks to the reversing camera - or simply let it park.[7][9]
              Off-Road Engineering Package Make your vehicle fit for tough terrain: the additional off-road driving mode optimises traction, for example, over snow, slush or loose ground. To this end, it adjusts the power delivery of the engine and the ABS control for slightly rougher non-tarmac surfaces. [1]
              DYNAMIC SELECT Drive exactly how you like to. At the touch of a button, DYNAMIC SELECT offers different driving modes which determine the settings for the engine, transmission, suspension and steering, for example. In "Sport" mode, the vehicle is more dynamic, while in "Comfort" mode, its setup is exceptionally balanced. “ECO” focuses on efficiency, saving fuel and money.
              Lowered comfort suspension The comfort suspension[1] offers you a dynamic overall package. It ensures even better roadholding. The suspension has been lowered by 15 millimetres and works with specially tuned springs and dampers: it is specifically configured to be sportier than the standard suspension.
              8G-DCT transmission An automatic transmission that adapts to your wishes: with the driving mode, you also change the characteristics of the dual-clutch transmission. It uses the 8 gears selectively for efficient driving at low engine speeds or for impressive dynamic handling. Because the next gear is always already preselected, you can accelerate seamlessly.
              48-volt system With the 48-volt system, a second on-board electrical system is set up in the GLA. The 48-volt battery increases the overall battery capacity. This means more electrical energy for innovative functions when stationary, such as climate control. More performance, more flexibility, more efficiency.
              MERCEDES-AMG The Mercedes-AMG GLA. Compact SUV performance has never been better: the GLA from Mercedes-AMG piques curiosity with its dynamic combination of AMG-specific radiator grille, front apron and finely-honed LED headlamps.
