Electromobility at Mercedes-Benz Our three electric options.
All-electric. All-electric travel, especially when using green electricity, means no CO2 emissions while driving, almost no noise and a direct response. Experience a completely new driving experience and a particularly forward-looking form of mobility with the all-electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. Button
Plug-in hybrid: The perfect combination of electric motor and internal combustion engine. Our plug-in hybrid drive systems combine the dynamics and efficiency of an electric motor with the range of an internal combustion engine. They can be charged at home and at public charging stations, and some models already offer purely electric ranges of up to 100 km (WLTP[1]).

[1] Power consumption and range have been determined on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2017/1151.

Mild hybrid: Intelligent efficiency with a noticeable boost effect. In the case of a mild hybrid, conventional combustion engines are equipped with an integrated starter generator (ISG) or belt starter generator (BSG). The ISG and BSG include a 48-volt electrical system that ensures functions such as gliding, boost or recuperation, enabling significant fuel savings. Button

Green Charging promotes electricity from renewable energy sources. If you charge at one of the over 400,000 charging stations in Europe via Mercedes me Charge, with Green Charging[1], Mercedes-Benz ensures an equivalent amount of green energy is fed back into the grid. This unique service applies to all major markets where you can charge your electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle via Mercedes me Charge.

[1] Green Charging uses proof of origin to ensure that, for the charging operation, an equivalent amount of electricity from renewable sources is fed back into the electrical grid.
