Not only when it comes to consumption: in general, a van with an electric drive has fewer wear parts than a combustion engine. That means, for example, there is no oil change. Additional benefits include the integrated Service Package and the complimentary Battery Certificate. The integrated Service Package is included as standard with your electric commercial vehicle and covers the cost of maintenance work[3] at your Mercedes-Benz service partner. It applies to the first 4 services within the first 4 years or up to 160,000 km.
With the Battery Certificate, after the statutory warranty for defects and the new-vehicle warranty, you also receive the following additional warranty coverage: for a total period of 8 years from delivery or initial registration, or up to 160,000 km[4], the warranted maximum remaining capacity of the high-voltage batteries in the battery system is not less than 70% of the initial capacity[5]. This gives you the reassurance that your vehicle will remain reliably ready for your business for a very long time.

Navigation with Electric Intelligence[2][4] helps with this: it always calculates the optimum route, taking into account factors such as state of charge, weather, and traffic conditions. Charging stops—where necessary—are factored in at an early stage and included automatically in the route guidance.

Preparation for Remote Services Plus.
With preparation for Remote Services Plus[1][2], you gain the ability to use your vehicle even more effectively and flexibly. It gives you access to a wide range of Digital Extras that make everyday use of the vehicle safer, more convenient, easier to plan, and therefore more efficient. For example, Remote Door Locking and Unlocking[[1][2], Auxiliary Heating/Ventilation[2][4], Geofencing[1][2], Remote Window and Sunroof Control[2][4] and Vehicle Tracking[1][2].
Programming of charging settings and pre-entry climate control.
For optimal deployment planning, use the Mercedes-Benz App to set a departure time, the desired state of charge, and the interior temperature for your electric van[1][2]. This Digital Extra automatically ensures that your vehicle is charged and climate-controlled at the right time. That means you can simply charge your van overnight—and your drivers can start the working day straight away at departure time.
Display charging stations.
Makes it easier for the driver to find charging stations along the route[2][4]. This Digital Extra is displayed in the MBUX multimedia system and in the Mercedes-Benz App. It helps the driver find charging stations along the route[1][2] and locate charging points nearby or at the destination. Depending on data availability, it may also show whether the charging station is available, which connector types are provided, and which operator it belongs to—and therefore what charging costs may apply.
The Digital Extra MB.CHARGE Public[1][2] not only gives you access to one of the world’s largest public charging networks with around 2 million charging points, but also offers numerous charging functions in your electric van.

The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers.
