‘When it comes to reducing your downtimes, we seek to help you with all means at our disposal, including our Digital Extras[1]. These Digital Services are designed to simplify the planning and organisation of your van maintenance or repair. They help you save time – and potentially money – so you can get back on the road for your customers more quickly.’
Service Advisor at Mercedes-Benz
[1] The use of some Digital Extras requires permanent acceptance of the Terms of Use for Digital Extras and the Mercedes me ID Terms of Use in their current versions, permanent linking of the vehicle to the Mercedes-Benz user account, consent to the storage and retrieval of the information required to activate some Digital Extras in the linked vehicle and – where applicable – the activation of the Digital Extras. Once limited contract periods have expired, Digital Extras can be renewed for a fee in the Mercedes-Benz Store, provided they are still available for the relevant vehicle at that time. In addition, there may be further conditions or restrictions for the use of some Digital Extras, such as a separate customer-specific agreement with a third-party provider (e.g. streaming, conclusion of a data contract for ‘Convenience Data Volume’, navigation functions), the activation of additional Digital Extras to ensure functionality or selected products from third-party providers (e.g. smartphone, smartwatch). As an alternative to ‘Convenience Data Volume’, depending on the generation of your multimedia system, the customer’s own data volume (e.g. mobile hotspot) must be used. Information on personal data processed for the use of Digital Extras can be found in the Privacy Policy for Digital Extras and smart control services. Connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers. Please also note any information in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
[2] Van Uptime Monitor is available in selected European markets for the Sprinter (907/910) and Vito (447 from MOPF2 – 03/2024) with communication module (LTE) for digital services – for both electric and combustion engine models.
