Electrically operated sliding doors The electrical operation allows opening and closing of the sliding door at the touch of a button, without the driver having to get out or the passengers having to touch the sliding door. This means a significant increase in comfort, especially when the sliding door is used frequently.

Sliding door, left The sliding door on the left-hand side offers additional access to the vehicle. This makes loading and unloading and getting in and out of the vehicle faster and more flexible, for example in cramped traffic situations in the city centre.

Tailgate Thanks to its generous load compartment aperture, the tailgate also allows bulky load items and luggage to be loaded and unloaded easily. The chrome-plated Mercedes star positioned at the centre of the tailgate enhances the rear-end design.

Double-wing rear door, opening 180°, no window The 2-wing rear door facilitates loading and unloading the vehicle with bulky luggage thanks to its ample opening angle. Forklift trucks can also approach the vehicle because the two symmetrical doors can open by up to 180°.

Window in tailgate/rear door with wash/wipe system The window in the tailgate affords the driver a view to the rear. The rear window can be cleaned with the help of the wash/wipe system to preserve a view to the rear even in poor weather conditions.

Roof railing The roof railing painted black allows the transportation of additional cargo above the roof and gives the vehicle an individual look. Assistance Package The Assistance Package_[8] is an intelligent combination of four assistance systems which take the strain off you while driving and make driving safer. They help you to, amongst other things, maintain a minimum distance from the vehicle in front, be aware of vehicles in your blind spot and avoid inadvertently straying out of the lane.

Lane Keeping Assist Lane Keeping Assist can help you to prevent accidents due to unintentionally leaving your lane. If the system detects that the vehicle has drifted out of its lane unintentionally, it warns the driver by means of a pulsating vibration of the steering wheel. This prompts the driver to return to the correct lane.

Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC The radar-based Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC_[9] adaptive cruise control automatically maintains the distance between the vehicle and vehicles in front, taking the strain off you on motorways or in stop-and-go traffic.

Blind Spot Assist Blind Spot Assist_[9] with Rear Cross Traffic Alert can use visual and acoustic warning signals to help avoid accidents when changing lane and reversing. PRE-SAFE® The PRE-SAFE®_[9] preventive occupant protection system can identify potentially critical driving situations at an early stage and initiate protective measures. The measures include reversible tightening of the driver's and front passenger's seat belts and closing any open windows and roof systems if necessary.

Crosswind Assist Crosswind Assist_[9] can detect track offset caused by strong crosswind gusts in good time manner and help the driver to stay in lane. A sudden track offset of the vehicle can cause inappropriate steering reactions on the part of the driver.

ATTENTION ASSIST The ATTENTION ASSIST_[9] system can help to avoid momentary nodding off and therefore provides you with increased safety, in particular when driving at night and on long journeys. The system provides you with a visual and acoustic warning if it identifies typical signs of drowsiness or lack of attention, and suggests taking a break.

Adaptive brake lights In the event of hard braking, the Adaptive Brake Light can warn following traffic and thus help prevent rear-end collisions. It is activated when ESP® detects an emergency braking manoeuvre – depending on braking pressure and speed.

GUARD 360° vehicle protection GUARD 360° vehicle protection function_[8] combines a number of security features that improve protection both for your vehicle and any valuables in the interior. It gives both an audible and a visible warning signal if it detects a break-in or theft.

Anti-Theft Protection Package The Anti-Theft Protection Package can help you to secure the vehicle by triggering a visual and an acoustic alarm if it detects a danger of theft. It consists of an anti-theft alarm system (ATA), interior protection and tow-away protection.

Anti-theft alarm system The anti-theft alarm system (ATA) offers high anti-theft protection for vehicle and cargo. It is automatically activated when pressing the radio remote control of the central locking system. The alarm sounds as soon as one of the doors is opened or unlocked from the inside when activated.

Mercedes-Benz emergency call system The Mercedes-Benz emergency call system can ensure crucial time savings in an emergency. Using a communication module with its own SIM card, an automatic emergency call is initiated following an accident, thereby potentially reducing the time before the emergency services arrive at the scene. Alternatively, an emergency call can be triggered manually to organise assistance.

Audible warning system The audible warning system makes other road users, for example, pedestrians and bike riders, aware of the electric vehicle and can therefore help to avoid collisions. An audible sound in the speed range from 0 to approx. 30 km is generated so that the electric vehicle can be heard better, e.g. in areas with restricted vehicle access.

Airbags for driver and front passenger In the event of a collision the front airbags can protect the head and upper body of the driver and front-seat passengers. They also help to stabilise the whole body. They thus provide a high degree of protection; reducing both the risk and severity of head, face and chest injuries.

Driver and front passenger thorax/pelvis side airbag The thorax-pelvis side airbag can help to protect the upper body and pelvic area of the driver or passengers in the event of a side impact and reduce the risk of injury. The side airbag is installed in the backrest of the driver's or passenger's seat. Optional equipment.

Window airbags for driver, front passenger and in the rear The window airbags for driver, front passenger and rear passengers offer a higher level of protection against head and face injuries in a severe side-on collision, in particular to occupants of the outer seats in the rear.

TEMPMATIC semi-automatic air conditioning system in the rear The TEMPMATIC semi-automatic air conditioning system in the rear pampers your passengers with pleasant climate comfort. Reversing camera The reversing camera assists you when parking and manoeuvring: it displays the area immediately behind the vehicle which you are unable to see directly. As a result, damage caused when parking and manoeuvring can be avoided. Dynamic guidelines and a 180° view also facilitate orientation when reversing.

Parking Package with reversing camera Regardless of whether you are parking in a transverse or parallel parking space, forwards or backwards: the Parking package with reversing camera supports you when parking and unparking, and makes manoeuvring in tight spaces easier. This can save time and nerves, as well as help to avoid unnecessary damage while parking.

PARKTRONIC PARKTRONIC helps to prevent damage to the vehicle when parking and manoeuvring. If the vehicle is approaching a detected obstacle, you are warned by visual and audible signals. Depending on the distance, first of all, the yellow LED lights are activated, and as the distance narrows they are joined by red LED lights and audible signals.

Lumbar support for driver and front passenger seat The 4-way lumbar support supports the vertebrae in the lumbar area and relieves back strain. This is especially pleasant on long journeys. 2 air cushions in the seat back of the comfort seat can be individually adjusted to the needs of the driver or front passenger and thus support an ergonomic sitting posture.

Cruise control Cruise control takes the burden off you by maintaining a pre-selected speed without the need for you to operate the accelerator pedal. A constant speed supports an energy-efficient driving style. Using the integrated speed limiter, you can set a maximum speed which helps you, for example, to stay within speed limits.

Acoustic Package With the Acoustic Comfort Package you improve the level of noise in the vehicle interior and therefore heighten the driving comfort experience. To this end, the doors are provided with additional insulation, sound-proofing and sealing and the drivetrain is optimised to reduce vibration.
